We recently learned that the custom orders portal on our website has been malfunctioning. We have removed that portal and changed the process for getting a quote on a custom order to email. If you have attempted to submit a custom order to us in the past and have not gotten a reply from us we are really sorry. Something was wrong and we didn't catch the fault (blacksmiths running websites is a recipe for confusion). If you would like to make a custom order or to get a quote on a custom project you can do so by emailing us at aa@arms-n-armor.com, put custom order or something similar in the subject line and we will get back to you within a few days.
We apologize for any poor experiences this oversight caused. Thank you for sticking with us through thick and thin.
As always, our swords and other weapons are entirely made by us, by hand, at our shop in Minneapolis, MN. Sword blades are hand ground of 6150 carbon steel, hardened and tempered to 50-52 Rockwell.
Arms & Armor is dedicated to quality and authenticity. For over four decades we have worked with museums, collectors, and scholars to develop a deep understanding of European weapons; knowledge we use to make products that exemplify the finest qualities of the very best historic pieces. When we select historic items to reproduce, being pretty isn't enough, they have to move with grace and beauty, and beg to be used when in the hand. These are pieces that feel as good as they look, and that work as well as they feel.
